Wacław Leszczyński: Will past repeat itself?
date:28 October 2025 Editor: Anna
erstwhile Poland is simply a democratic state, providing civilian liberties and spiritual tolerance. At the command of King Henry VIII of England in the first half of the 16th century, they were cut off by what they had exposed themselves to him. In France in the first half of the 17th century, Prime Minister Louis XIII, Cardinal Richelieu imprisoned opponents in Bastille. And in Poland since 1422 no 1 could be imprisoned without a court sentence. King Louis XI in the second half of the 15th century began absolute regulation in France. And in Poland, since 1454, the king was incapable to issue fresh laws without the consent of the Seymists, to call a common move, to impose taxes, and from 1505 to constitute rights without the consent of the Seym. In the 16th century there were bloody spiritual wars in Germany, in France and the Netherlands Protestants murdered Catholics, and in 1572 respective 1000 Protestants were murdered in Paris in “The Night of St Bartholomew”. At the time, in Catholic Poland, the highest positions were held by Protestants who were equally entitled to Catholics in accordance with the “Warsaw Confederacy” of 1573 which ensured freedom of religion.

Since 1573, Polish kings have been elected by nobility in a general vote. After his election, the king had to sign a commitment to hold the rights defining the regulation of the Republic and the orders and prohibitions blocking absolute rule. It was a noble democracy, due to the fact that it was the nobles who then defended the country and participated in wars. In order to be able to participate in them (at its own expense!), which took many years and years, part of the land given to them by the ruler allocated to the peasants (agreements of about 17 hectares), in exchange for their work “on yours”.
In the 16th century the army paid for by the king was introduced in Poland, the nobility was called “a common move” only in the event of war. The flourishing of Poland for the last Jagiellons, caused the wealth of the nobility to rise. Without going to war, she multiplied the wealth, increased the harvest, resulting in an increase in the "gentlemen". She was reluctant to reduce the taxation revenues associated with the threat of Poland from her neighbours. Her intellectual level was decreasing, hence her indifference to the destiny of the country. The Magnats carried out activities, frequently against the interests of the state. This was utilized by the increasing neighbors, especially Russia, corrupting people who could influence the state of the country. And so Poland was weakened by the indifference of nobility, the egoism of magnates and the destructive wars with Russia, Sweden and Turkey.
Since the early 18th century, Russia has interfered with Poland's policy of losing sovereignty. Under the threat of bayonets and bribery, attempts to repair the state fell and harmful laws were passed. At the 1767-68 Parliament, the right-holder was recognized as Empress of Russia Catherine II. The Russian troops strangled the Bar Confederation (called the First National Uprising against Russia) and guarded the First Partition of Poland made in 1772, with the aid of Prussia. Despite this, patriotic circles of society developed the country economically and raised the level of education. utilizing Russia's treatment of the war against Turkey and Sweden, they led to the adoption on 3 May 1791. A Constitution that removes harmful laws imposed by Russia. It was introduced somewhat illegally, due to the fact that during the Easter break, in the absence of most Members, including many who argue reforms. At that time, supporters of Russia's “care” against the “lack of the regulation of law” in Poland established a confederation called Targowice in Moscow. With the aid of Russia and Prussia, these “legalists”, not counting on the Constitution, reversed the laws “to be as it was”, in their interest. And so they led to subsequent partitions and the fall of Poland and its removal from the maps of Europe for 123 years.
The demolition of Poland in the 18th century lasted for 100 years and in the 20th century for 50 years. In the 18th century, work on changes to the laws imposed by Russia lasted 18 years and resulted in the Constitution 3 May. In the 21st century, akin actions only lasted for 10 years, so many things were not resolved. In the 18th century, Russian and Prussian parties fought each other, and in the 21st century they act together. due to the fact that Russia and Germany are inactive in the alliance as they were during the partitions of Poland. It was Germany in Russia's interest to ban Ukraine from defending Crimea in 2014. They were the ones who supported the construction of Nord Stream, thanks to which Russia was gaining funds for armaments. They were the ones who hoped for the defeat of Ukraine after the Russian aggression in 2022 and refused to give her a weapon that would "could harm Russia". It is the Germans who force Mercosur indirectly to fund Russia. It is Germany who is chasing suspects for the demolition of Russian Nord Stream in global waters. They are besides opposed to US sanctions against Russian oil companies operating on their territory.
As in the 18th century, the Russian agentura, supported by pro-Russian environments, was now operating in Poland. As then it opposes the "lack of the regulation of law", i.e. the change of rights imposed by the Russian occupier in the PRL. In the 18th century, she broke the session of the Sejm and passed laws harmful to Poland. Today, it fights forces that can repair the legal strategy and endanger Russia's actions. So he fights the Church due to the fact that he defends life and patriotism. He fights the president of Poland, beating him with slanders and rude nicknames, due to the fact that Russia issued a BOLO for him. He besides fights the Head of BBN due to the fact that he published the hidden plan of the division of Poland on the Vistula line into the zones of interests of Russia and Germany. He falsely accuses and reprisals the people liable for the secret operating system, due to the fact that Russian spies were detected before, in addition to the scandalists. He's stalking Belsat's erstwhile chief for her anti-Russianism. In the 18th century, the operation of the agentry after respective years led to the collapse of Poland. And today, will Poland last these next 2 years, or will the agents, the Green Deal, Mercosur, the Migration Pact bury her sooner? This depends on the attitude of Poles, including those who, having money, "live the moment", which leads to their failure of identity and freedom. Time for them to come to their senses!
