"On 20 June 2025, the prosecutor became acquainted with the files of the case about the sygnosis. I NSW 9/25, where there were protocols for the recalculation of voting cards in 10 regional electoral commissions (Kraków, Tarnów, Katowice, Strzelce Opolskie, Minsk Mazowieckie, Olesno, Grudziądz, Kamienna Góra, Wieniec -Brześć Kujawski, Gdańsk)" - reads the release.
PK: 7 committees replaced candidates' votes
The documentation shows that there were errors in the 10 committees examined in 7 that led to incorrect attribution of votes to candidates. "The vote has been exchanged," writes Adam Bodnar, proc. Anna Adamiak.
The minutes indicated Karol Nawrocki's victory, but after recalculation it turned out that more votes were received by Rafał Trzaskowski. This concerns the committees in Krakow, Opolskie Strzelce, Minsk Mazowieckie, Oleśnie, Grudziądz, Wieniec-Brześci Kujawske and Gdańsk.
In the committee in Katowice, there was in turn a mistaken addition of votes invalid to both candidates. In Tarnów, the results confirmed the first protocol.
The situation in Kamienna Góra, where, as the prosecutor informed, among the cards attributed to Karol Nawrock was crucial votes cast on Rafał Trzaskowski. After recalculation, it turned out that Trzaskowski had more votes in this circuit.
"Disclosed in the work of a peripheral electoral commission in Kamienna Góra warrants the conduct of the examination procedure by the local and factually competent organisational unit of the prosecution, in connection with the anticipation of committing a crime" - informed the PK spokesman.
Adam Bodnar announces further action. In cases of doubt, the lawyer General is to request, among others, the recalculation of electoral cards. "In justified cases, preparatory investigations will be initiated to establish all the circumstances and to make a legal assessment of them," the Communication states.
Let us remind that Prime Minister Donald Tusk made an appeal to president Andrzej Duda, President-elect Karol Nawrocki and president of the Law and Justice Office Jarosław Kaczyński. "You are not so simply curious about the real results of the vote?" he wrote on platform X. In his reply, Duda stated that the ruling coalition "could not reconcile with losing in the presidential election" and called it a "ordinary tupan foot".
