Decision of Karol Nawrocki on SAFE

– I decided that I would not sign a bill that allows Poland to borrow SAFE. For I will never sign a bill that strikes our sovereignty, independence, economical and military security, but Karol Nawrocki announced.
The government introduces "Plan B" after Nawrocki's decision
In consequence to this day, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution which empowers defence and finance ministers to sign the instrument agreement. Donald Tusk had already talked about "Plan B", due to the fact that he received a signal that the president would veto the bill.
– Our answer must be in character and constructive. Therefore, in a minute we will start a gathering of the government, at which we will adopt a resolution, on the basis of which we will implement the program "Army Poland". It is not accidental that Finns, Lithuanians, Estonians, Latvians, Romanians and Poland participate in the SAFE project. These are the countries that put the most effort into protecting themselves, their borders, the full of Europe and NATO from possible Russian aggression," Tusk said after the announcement.
