The coalition held power on October 15 for over a year and a half. In society, however, there are no shortages of votes that the Government of the United Right managed the state better. The moods do not improve the fresh turmoil around the current ruling team. The UCE investigation poll for Onetu asked Poles, which of the governments, present or previous, better dealt with 1 of the key issues.

After the momentary decline of support, connected, among others, with the failure of Rafał Trzaskowski in the presidential election, or the electoral protests of the Citizen Coalition's notation began to emergence again. The members of the ruling coalition hope that the reconstruction of the government will bring improvement. Donald Tusk announced it on Wednesday 23 July. Which government has better handled the issue of defence?

The UCE investigation survey commissioned by Onetu asked respondents, "Which government, in your opinion, has led/conducted a better policy on military and defence issues of the country?".

The poll results show that opinions on this issue are powerfully divided. The United Right government gained a tiny advantage. 37.7% of respondents indicated this response. Not much less, due to the fact that 36.5%, bet on Donald Tusk's current office. 32.6 percent of the respondents had no clear opinion on this.

For many Poles, safety and defence are 1 of the most crucial issues present – especially in the face of the war in Ukraine and expanding tensions in the world. After the Russian invasion, the PiS government accelerated purchases of military equipment, increased spending on the army and signed agreements with the US and South Korea, among others. The current government in turn focused on strengthening borders with Russia and Belarus.

Among the PiS voters, 86.8 percent believe that their organization had a better defence policy. In turn, in the electorate of the civilian Coalition 81.7% indicated the current government.

57.3% of Confederate voters indicated that the governments of the United Right were better at defending themselves. Even among the opponents of the present power, there is no full consensus as to the advantage of the erstwhile government.

The survey was conducted by the CAVI (Computer-Assisted Web Interview) method on 19–21 July 2025 on a typical example of 1013 adult Poles aged 18–80.

Who divided society more?

As we wrote on Temat.pl, the same survey asked the question: "Which government, in your opinion, contributed more to social and political divisions in Poland?".

More votes were received by the Government of the United Right. It was indicated by 45.71 percent of respondents. On the another hand, 34.85 percent of respondents chose Donald Tusk's government. 19.45 percent of respondents had no opinion on this issue.
