The gathering of the subcommittee was chaired by MP KO/Modern Witold Zembachinski. On behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister and the head of the MON, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish, the implementation of the budget was summed up by Brig-Gen Sławomir Kozicki. In 2024, **for precedence targets in MON – as indicated by Gen. Kozicki - recognised**: improvement of capabilities to counter military threats, increase of military capabilities and operational capabilities of the Armed Forces of Poland to carry out independent and allied actions, strengthen operational military units distributed in the east of the country, form and complete the 18th and 16th Mechanized Divisions and the 1st Legion Infantry Division, and accomplish operational readiness by the Command of Cyberspace Defence and the straight subordinate unit, accomplish capacity for crisis consequence by WOT and cooperate with operating troops, increase in the number of Polish Armed Forces, make conditions for the permanent presence of US troops in Poland, implement the training process of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.
