On Wednesday, 13 December, in Przemyśl, celebrations were held in memory of Orląt, ranks of students and junior advanced school students fighting for the liberation of Przemyśl at the hands of Ukrainians. It was that day in 1918 in Nizankowice that the last fight against Ukrainians for the territories of east Galicia took place, which later lay within our state. Celebrations have been held continuously for respective years at the initiative of the organization of the March Orląt and Youth of All Poland, but are almost absent in the mass media.
The first component of the celebration was Mass celebrated at the local Franciscan Fathers' Church. The participants of the Orląt March then went from independency Square to Zasana to the monument of Przemysl Orląt. The main event was there.
