Donald Tusk met with the leaders of the alleged willing coalition in Paris, including Poland. During the meeting, among others, the issues of sending troops to Ukraine were discussed. This is about peacekeeping forces to guarantee the territorial integrity of the country after peace is made with Russia. Will Polish soldiers besides be sent to our east border? "We have already stressed many times, I do not anticipate sending soldiers to Ukraine, even after the end of the war", said the head of the Polish government.
However, it will not be that Poland will only passively look at the western troops in Ukraine from behind Bug. Our country will be liable for all logistics.
"But we are liable for logistics. In Poland there is the largest hub, this is simply a place of organization of aid for Ukraine and this is simply a task adequate to not say, of exceptional importance," said Donald Tusk.
