W.P. Chichel: Świętokrzyska NSZ Brigade and Dmowski's realization of ideas

I do not intend to dwell on military aspects or examine the degree to which the Brigade's soldiers were associated with the pre-war National Camp. This is completely irrelevant due to the fact that many of them were children or served in the Polish Army. Therefore, I would like to look at the activities and objectives that they have set up for themselves the commanders of the National Armed Forces, creating from the 202th and 204th regiment 1 formation to advance to the Allies in front of the German-Soviet front.

The Main Command acted very rationally, due to the fact that the Red Army did not have the strength to fight, and Germany was already defeated, so the assault fight with them did not make sense, as the Storm Action showed. The Aquifers gave their lives to end up under the yoke of the Soviets, and frequently landing in Siberia or down with lime. The longer fighting of both enemies worked in favour of Poles. Most importantly, the behaviour of the Świętokrzyska Brigade contradicted the popular doctrine in Poland, more recently, the doctrine of "szabelkism", that is, fighting at all costs, regardless of the consequences. I think Roman Dmowski would support this maneuver. In addition, she led the national underground the thought of saving human substance, which would be useful in the future at the time of the Allies' fight with the Soviets, that is, the real liberation of Poland.

This is another aspect that is consistent with the beliefs of the perfect — more crucial of our business than of the Soviets, due to the fact that they were aware of the second business that had taken place since 1944. Many of them fought the native communists, and the Dwarfs would execution them to nothing. In the same aspect, the Brigade created a group gathering along the way exiled from the burnt capital of Warsaw, providing them with protection. In this way, alternatively of fighting and losing valuable individuals to the Nation, they created a sphere for the protection of Poles in danger, regardless of the views or origin-principle of the all-Polish idea. And the most beautiful merit of the national underground was the liberation of the Concentration Camp in Holiszów under the Czech Pilzne, where respective 100 judaic women, Polish women, French women and Dutch women were saved from burning. Saving civilians from death is most likely more rational, and all the more useful than a pointless fight for murdering enemies to hurt them? Many historians, journalists or politicians condemn the NSZ for any agreement with Germany on their journey to the West. They do not announcement at all that the Świętokrzyska Brigade fought with Germany erstwhile they attacked, but erstwhile it was possible to suspend their weapons and pass peacefully to scope the mark without casualties, they chose a safe option for soldiers, and even more so civilians. Unfortunately, they were forced to send respective people to Poland via the Wehrmacht, but did not let for execution or fighting. There was no champagne drinking, which is trying to insinuate prof. Friszke. At that point, Colonel Szacki with the remainder of the command knew that the Nazis were not a problem, but a Bolshevik wwłocz from the east. Therefore, they participated in the gathering of anti-communist forces in Prague. Just as Roman Dmowski countered the establishment, they noticed that the threat was coming from another side and this time it was already the underheating 3rd Reich, while the USSR. They did not get carried distant with the emotions of war, the sufferings of the Nazis. any of them may have survived the communist business from 1939 to 1941, but mostly did not experience russian terror. That was the national thought — putting common sense before emotions.

The Świętokrzyska Brigade knew where to go to be safe in the West. The 3rd Army of Gen. Patton belonged to the most anti-communist Allied formation, and the commander himself wanted to go after beating Germany to the Soviets. Unfortunately, Roosevelt and the Democrats were not disturbed by communism and "Uncle Joe". However, the Americans recognized the NSZ Świętokrzyska Brigade as their allies and accepted into their ranks. Later the NSZtows formed the War Company at the Yankees. Unfortunately, the goal achieved did not bring the mark results, i.e. return to Poland to beat red. Poland has already been sold in Tehran, but respective 100 Poles and prisoners from Holiszów were saved.
