The Head of the Department of Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vitali Sarancew, confirmed the conflict in a comment for Ukrainian Truth. According to him, it is not always possible to rapidly deliver those mobilized to training centres, so the recruits are locked up in a military facility and must wait longer. Sarancew added that "among those who are mobilized are people with low motivation who incite others to unrest". However, he assured that the military was taking measures to prevent akin events in the future.
