Less than 3 weeks before the start of the extraliga game, a fresh slag period officially began in Poland on Sunday afternoon. The inaugural event was the Speedway Silesia Cup – 52. Memorial of Bronisław Idzikowski and Marek Czerny, organized since 1967 in Częstochowa.

The winner of this year's accrual only selected an additional run, as after 20 races, as many as 3 players gathered 14 points each. These included: Bartosz Zmarzlik (Motor Lublin) and Jakub Miskowiak and Rohan Tungate (both Włkniarz Częstochowa).

In the end, the first place came to Zmarzlik, behind the six-time planet champion to the finish came Miskowiak, and the 3rd was Tungate.

Before that, each of them had won 4 races and the second time was – Zmarzlik behind Tungat, Tungate behind Miskowiak, and Miskowiak behind Zmarzlik. Krzysztof Buczkowski (Polonia Bydgoszcz) had a chance to place on the podium, who had 9 points after 3 starts, like Miśkowiak, but in the 16th race he was only the 3rd (after Zmarzlik and Miskowiak), and after losing in the 20th with Tungat he had to settle for the 4th place.

As for the course of the tournament, – to the disappointment of the fans – there was small fighting at the distance, and in almost all races about order at the finish, he decided to start and exit the first arch. And it was at the first arc in race No. 1 that Simon Wozniak (Polonia Bydgoszcz) collided with Jason Doyle (Wolki Krosno), after which both slags fell under the band, but no of them happened and both were allowed to repeat.

The collision in 4th gear ended worse erstwhile Robert Chmiel (Opole Railwayr) caught Sebastian Szostak (Farmer of Czestochowa) driving in front of him and both hit the track with large momentum. The hops were fine, and after being excluded from the rerun he continued the competition, but the state of Shostak was serious adequate to be transported to the hospital. A young slag has been diagnosed with a fracture in the thoracic spine and neck, but the injury does not require surgical treatment. Szostaka awaits a fewer weeks of break in start-ups and training, and a return to the track will be preceded by specialized rehabilitation.
