“The dialog is possible, and even desirable, with all man,” he told me Jacek MiędlarWhen I asked him if dialog with the Ukrainians was possible. His documentary on the crimes committed by CNS-UPA attracts crowds of viewers and wins awards at festivals.

In his films and books, he addresses the subject behind which he automatically becomes an enemy of the system. In Poland – where the power is exercised by abroad persons to the national spirit – it is not possible to exposure those who harmed Poles. It's adequate to mention meatloaf titles like “Poland in the shadow of Jewry” is ‘Neighbours. Last Witnesses of Ukrainian genocide in Poles”.

Jacek Międlar is the 1 who attracts the top attention at the bottom of the book fair organized by the tour. I watched it up close, standing next to the stand. He's young, charismatic, brave and uncompromising with traitors at the trough. He may not see it yet, but he will shortly have a large responsibility.

Hated by mainstream and at the same time valued by anti-system environments. erstwhile the celebrated March of independency in Warsaw took over PiS, Międlar organized an alternate event in Wrocław on 11 November. The march of Poles annually attracts more and more patriots who want nothing to do with political careers from the capital.

AT HISTORIA

The documentary series “Neighbours” is yet to have 4 episodes: Prelude, Genocidum atrox, Exodus, and Element. I'm after the first 2 parts. The document, on the method side, is made very well, which may surprise – after all Jacek Międlar does not have a movie education. I estimation that the author has put his heart, passion and large work and commitment into his work.

In the film, celebrated historians, specified as Lucyna Kulinska is Władysław Osadnicze. The eyewitness accounts of those violent crimes are peculiarly valuable. The image is supplemented by archival photographs and recordings (including very shocking) and animations. The full complements the building tension of music.

The funds for the creation of the series come from voluntary donations of Poles and from sales of books and products issued by Międlar's publishing house, whose offer is available on the website sklep-wLawo.pl.

Work on the task began in 2019. Initially, they assumed interviews with Ukrainian Witnesses of genocide in Poles and archiving thousands of previously unpublished memories and testimonies. In time, the thought for professional movie production was born.

I watched 1 episode online, the another – together with the audience during the Kamrat reunion in Grunwald. I had the impression that the vast majority of those present in the area had already had a clear view of the genocide in Volyn; they were people aware of this terrible story.

However, I was curious whether there were besides people who had not known this bloody communicative before and were just confronting it for the first time. How do they react? I asked the author himself.

The meat mill admits that there are many specified viewers, including foreigners. Moreover, as he emphasizes, people from outside the alleged "right bubble" frequently dominate the screenings, which will learn this communicative from scratch. Reactions can be peculiarly strong: many viewers come out profoundly moved and sometimes even shaken.

One of the most eloquent scenes was the participation of a black man who came to the show. "The full movie almost cried, experiencing what he saw, with large emotionality," says Międlar.

This image, as the author notes, says more than statistics: it shows that the communicative of Volyn tragedy can decision people regardless of origin, views or life experiences.

ON THE NON-COUNTER

The implementation of the task “Neighbours” by Jack Międlar did not go without dramatic events. As he recalls, from the very beginning he faced pressures and attempts to intimidate. respective armed ABW officers entered his home, who took over all electronic equipment and external disks.

Later, there were further difficulties: absurd accusations and online challenges, in which he was referred to as "agent Putin" or "Russian onus". The meat mill emphasizes that the second do not make much impression on him – although they are part of a wider run aimed at discouraging him from further work.

The most hard period coincided at a time erstwhile he held talks with witnesses of genocide committed by Ukrainian nationalists and historians dealing with this subject. In total, Międlar recorded as many as 84 interviews, frequently under conditions in which the oppression of the state apparatus towards his individual reached an apogee.

In addition to the NSA raid on his home – and on his parents' house, located hundreds of kilometres distant – he was under police supervision, detained by the militia on his way to the March of Poles in Wroclaw on 11 November 2022, and besides bombarded with a series of questionable charges. All of this consisted of an effort to intimidate him and financial ruin.

Paradoxically, it was then that meetings with witnesses became a origin of strength for Międlar. Their résumés, marked by unimaginable suffering, allowed him to realize that his own problems light in the experiences of the interviewers. As he says, these stories were a lesson to him of humility, perseverance and human dignity. "They were my guardian angels who led me through Dante's own Hell," he concludes.

BETWEEN HISTORIES AND THE FUTURE

Looking at Jack Meatlar, I get the feeling he's going to have a very hard mission. In front of our eyes, the cultural structure of the Polish state is radically changing. The Zionists from Israel are joining millions of Ukrainian visitors, who have a comfortable nest in Poland.

It is not hard to foretell that the second will want to incite Ukrainians and Poles against each other, in order to take full control of the country over the Vistula River and its inhabitants, according to the rule of ‘share and rule’. All you gotta do is sneakly ignite the smoldering animosity, and Volyn 2.0 will knock on our door. We can't let that happen for the world. This is simply a immense challenge, especially in the light of the complicated Polish-Ukrainian history.

According to Międlar, the origin of the Ukrainians' reluctance to Poles is the long-standing education in hajdamacko-Banderov narratives, in fresh years further reinforced by education, media and politics. "In this tradition Ukrainians have been raised for decades. The process of folklore and idealization of old attitudes covered almost all spheres of public life in Ukraine," he explains.

Data from the Ukrainian Socialist Group "Rating" confirm this trend. "In fresh years, there has been a marked increase in affirmative historical figures, around which there have been hot disputes over decades. In particular, it concerns Stepan Bandery – its affirmative assessment rose from 22% in 2012 to 74% in 2022", Międlar emphasises.

I lacked even deeper digging – 1 that would let me to scope the issue, which in not decades, but centuries could have caused the Ukrainians to be so easy able to incite against the Poles. What hides even deeper can further complicate the matter, especially for a sincere Polish patriot. However, it is worth taking up this challenge, especially because, as Meatlar says, "dialogue is desirable with all man."

Jacek Międlar in his conversation with me clearly formulates his imagination of action against the presence of millions of Ukrainians in Poland. " Bearing in head that the authorities of the III Republic consistently duplicate the errors of the sanitation of the Promethean movement, 'the Vistula operation' should be carried out immediately," he says. It's about a package of changes that will make the majority of Ukrainians decide to leave Poland themselves and those who stay will be covered by "deep polonization".

Międlar describes his proposals in detail: withdrawal of the “Polician card”, tightening of the rules for granting citizenship with the work to sign “anti-Bander’s lojalka”, restrictions on the acquisition of property, control of money flow, penalization of the ideology of hostile Poland, taking social privileges and learning actual past – including a reminder of the crimes of Stepan Bandera, Roman Szuchewycz, Mykola Lebeda and others.

"The self-operation proposed by me from actions before almost 8 decades ago would disagree not only by the method of operation, but besides by the range, as the destinations of the Ukrainians leaving abroad, not the western areas of the Republic of Poland. And what is beautiful – Ukrainians would have moved themselves out of Poland, due to the fact that surviving among Lachów would be unprofitable for them. Hence, it is not 'operation' but 'auto-operation'," explains Międlar.

THE large CHALLENGE

The first episode of “Neighbours” was awarded an audience award at the 39th global movie Festival “Maximilia” and won second place in the category of the best classical documentary movie at the 39th global Catholic Festival of Films and Multimedia “Undefiled”.

The production was besides included in the group of finalists and nominees for the main prize at prestigious festivals specified as the Replay global movie Festival (Vienna-Graz, final gala in December 2025), the Kraken global movie Festival in Milan (final gala in May 2026) or the Sweden movie Awards. Additionally, she became a quarter-finalist of the Auguri movie Festival in Turin in terms of: the best documentary movie and the best editing.

The second episode, not submitted to the festivals until October 2025, had already won finalist position and nomination for the main award at the Ponza movie Festival In Italy, which announces further success of the series.

Given the subject of the show, the fact that Międlar broke through with a documentary on Ukrainian crimes is simply a circumstantial phenomenon. A full of more than 120 screenings of the first and second episodes have already been held. The updated projection calendar is available on FilmSasiedi.pl.

Festivals are part of a broader strategy by Jack Międlar, who wants to scope environments outside his own information bubble. The author besides offers tv stations a free licence to issue the movie because, as he himself emphasizes, he primarily cares about the widest possible transmission and not for profit.

“I regularly drive around Poland for organized screenings, where I meet with spectators, answer questions and talk to people who had no contact with this subject. At the same time, I gradually share the video on YouTube so that anyone – regardless of their place of residence or wealth of the wallet – can watch it. All this makes past go to people who are little aware and to those who do not belong to our information bubble," concludes the creator of “Neighbours”.

What would Jack Meatler like today? To calmly and consistently complete the assembly of all episodes and proceed his mission. He's got courage and listening. erstwhile the critical minute comes, it is most likely his voice that will be heard by Polish patriots who do not appeal to the system. The most crucial task – in the face of what Polish enemies are preparing – is to halt bloodshed and defend the national community. Above all, let the humility of the spirit accompany him.
