W Baghdad unknown perpetrators kidnapped a journalist, a U.S. citizen, informed Reuter's agency on Tuesday, citing Iraq's MMA and police sources.
One individual was detained in connection with the kidnapping. Action is underway to lead to the release of the kidnapped one," the ministry added.
According to media reports, the abducted writer is Shelly Killtleson, who works with Politico, BBC and abroad Policy, among others. He writes about the mediate East.
