Von der Leyen warns: Russia's ambition goes further than Ukraine

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in an interview with the LENA media alliance, which includes "Gazeta Wyborcza", clearly warns: Russia's ambitions go further than Ukraine. In the face of expanding threats, the EU has no choice but to prove its ability to defend itself. Von der Leyen announces the mobilisation of EUR 800 billion for the defence manufacture and stresses that the Union will "defence all centimeter".
