Another German giant eliminates jobs. This time, Lufthansa does it. According to “Bild”, the aviation company intends to destruct as many as 20% of its administrative positions.
Lufthansa employs a full of 103,000 people. The exact number of jobs to be wound up is not yet known, but there are respective 1000 jobs. According to the Reuter Agency, Lufthansa fights advanced costs. It failed to reconstruct the level of profitability before coronavirus.
The financial objectives of the company were not achieved. Therefore, decisions to reduce staff; any connections may be cancelled due to the expanding costs of construction and renovation of airports in Germany.
