Volyn – Unreported Crime

Of all the crimes committed on Polish lands in the 20th century, the massacre of Polish villagers in Volyn in the summertime of 1943 may be the cruelest one. Not due to the scale of the slaughter, estimated to be tens of thousands of victims, but due to the fact that to this day this crime is not seen by the world. In many respects this tragedy lacks historical readability, which is why Poles are incapable to realize these events and give them meaning.
