Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, seen as the closest ally to the Kremlin in the European Union, has based the run against the April elections on an acute anti-Ukrainian message. In the face of weakening support, it convinces voters that the biggest threat to the country is not economical stagnation, but support for Ukraine in the war against Russia.
