VIII Pilgrimage of the Families of Lost Children

On Saturday, June 7, this year, the 8th Pilgrimage of Families of Lost Children will be held in the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Kraków-Lagiewniki. The Holy Mass, which will be held in Basilica at 12 noon, will be presided over by Fr Jacek Kędzierski.

The gathering of the families will begin with the prayer of the Angel of the Lord at 12 noon in the Łagiewnicka Basilica, after which the celebration of the Holy Mass under Fr Jack Kędzierski will take place. The Eucharist will complete the service of entrusting the dead children to God's Mercy.

Families will receive acts of entrustment and commemorative candles on site. During the dedication service, the priest will give the Passover families the Light of the Risen Christ. Parents with candles lit will refuse along with a celebrity Act of Trust in the kid of Divine Mercy And sing Magnificat as a thank you for the gift of his life.

At the entrance to the Basilica, to the specially prepared basket, families will be able to submit cards with the name of the deceased child, which will then be laid on the altar in a procession with gifts. The names of the children after the completed pilgrimage will be entered in the Book of the Lost Children conducted in the Sanctuary.

Pilgrimage is addressed to families experienced in the death of an unborn and born kid who dies from spontaneous abortions, in communication accidents, as a consequence of oncological diseases and suicide. all individual who feels affected by the death of a kid in a household is invited to attend a pilgrimage.
