Vietnam Airlines Adds fresh Flights to Bengaluru and Hyderabad

BENGALURU- Vietnamese flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines (VN), is set to strengthen its presence in India. The airline is planning to launch new direct flights from Hanoi (HAN) to Bengaluru (BLR) and Hyderabad (HYD).

Scheduled to begin in May 2025, this expansion marks a significant step in enhancing connectivity between India and Vietnam, The Indian Aviation Guy reported. This will be the first time the airline will enter the Southern India region. The new flights shall cater to the growing demand from travelers, especially the leisure and tourist traffic.

When Will Bookings Open?

As of now, reservations for the new Hanoi-Bengaluru and Hanoi-Hyderabad flights have not yet been opened. However, with the official launch planned for May 2025, ticket sales are expected to go live in the coming weeks.

From the filing, the airline will deploy its Airbus A321 aircraft to both Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The 7 weekly flights will be divided between these two cities. The airline will operate 4 times a week flights to Bengaluru and 3 times a week flights to Hyderabad. Further details on flight schedules will be available only after the reservations for the flights begin.
