Maria Corina Machado – the leader of the Venezuelan opposition and Nobel Peace Prize laureate – called for Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia to take over the presidency after the US attack and the capture of Nicolás Maduro. "In these decisive hours, accept all my strength, trust and love. Let's all be vigilant and in touch. Venezuela will be free!" - she emphasized in a statement.
