Venezuela: Death toll rises following earthquakes

The authoritative death toll from Wednesday’s earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to 1,430, with 3,238 people injured, Parliament talker Jorge Rodriguez announced on Saturday. According to the UN, the number of missing persons is estimated at over 50,000.
