President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, on platform X wrote: "52 prisoners safely crossed the Lithuanian border with Belarus today, leaving behind barbed wire, blocked windows and constant fear. 52 is simply a lot. Nevertheless, 1000 political prisoners stay in Belarusian prisons and we cannot halt until they are freed."
MFA spokesperson Paweł Wroński reported that among the released prisoners are Poles. The Belarusian citizens of large Britain, Latvia, Germany, Lithuania and France held by the government besides regained their freedom.
Diplomatic advisor Svetlana Cichanouska He said that Belarusian activists, oppositionists, journalists and social activists were besides released.
The negotiation with Alexander Lukashenko was undertaken by an envoy from president Donald Trump, John Coale. He announced that the US is abolishing sanctions against Belavia airlines and wants to reconstruct the embassy in Minsk.
