Prisoners held in Belarus were released

President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, on platform X wrote: "52 prisoners safely crossed the Lithuanian border with Belarus today, leaving behind barbed wire, blocked windows and constant fear. 52 is simply a lot. Nevertheless, 1000 political prisoners stay in Belarusian prisons and we cannot halt until they are freed."

MFA spokesperson Paweł Wroński reported that among the released prisoners are Poles. The Belarusian citizens of large Britain, Latvia, Germany, Lithuania and France held by the government besides regained their freedom.
