SAFE Act in the Senate, commissions for payment outside of the MON

12 Senators voted for the bill, 3 supported Wojciech Skurkiewicz (PiS)'s proposal to reject the bill; the amendment tabled by a group of Senators was unanimously supported. According to the amendment, expenditure on repayment of the debt with interest and another costs, as well as loans and bonds, as well as BGK's remuneration for the operation of the Fund will not be included in the defence expenditure set out in the National Defence Act at the level of 3% of GDP. In the Parliament to relieve the burden of the MON budget, the PiS amendment was rejected, while the government ensured that repayments would take place outside the part of the budget foreseen for the MON besides announced the amendment at the legislature stage.
