USS Gettysburg shot down F/A-18F Super Hornet

On December 21, the United States Department of defence reported an incidental that occurred in the Red Sea waters. The USS Gettysburg cruiser (CG 64) mistakenly shot down a multitasking combat aircraft Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet.
