The U.S. will pay for Turkish artillery for Ukraine?

We wrote about the possible sale of Ukraine to Turkish artillery on [beginning July last year](https://defence24.pl/war-na-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/Turkish-haubice-for-Ukraine), erstwhile it was Alexey Gromov, Deputy Chief of Operations of the General Staff of Armed Forces Ukraine in an interview with Ukriformin stated that it expected supplies of Turkish self-propelled caterpillar cannons T-155 Firtina. This information has caused a large surprise among the observers for many reasons, starting with the fact that no indications have so far appeared regarding the transfer or sale of T-155 Firtin to Ukraine.
Now, as the ArmyRecognition Service informs, we are talking about a possible US payment of 12 copies of Turkish competitor Krab. It is now the most modern serially produced Turkish artillery system, which has already reached [a fresh variant signed with the name Firtina II](https://defence24.pl/strong-arms/turcy-with-new-artillery system).
