The erstwhile Ministry of Defence will change the name of the Ministry of War. On Friday, U.S. president Donald Trump will sign the corresponding implementing regulation on renaming. According to the White House, returning to the first name from 1798 will be a signal to America's opponents. The current name "defence ministry" has been in operation since 1949.
