USA to replace Russia. Americans with a base in Syria

On Monday, the US president Donald Trump meets Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa. The cooperation between the 2 countries is to be discussed, including the usage by the Americans of 1 of the Syrian bases. According to Reuters, the U.S. plan is to address, among others, the usage of the base to monitor the possible Israeli-Syrian agreement.
