Trump was eagerly expected to speak, but Washington cancelled the press conference, which was a clear signal that the U.S. leader, always willing to boast of success, had nothing to boast about this time. His offer of full truce for 30 days was not accepted by Putin. So he agreed to the truncated version – the cessation of common attacks on the energy infrastructure of Russia and Ukraine.
