The United States and Ecuador have launched joint military operations against drug cartels, considered terrorist organizations. According to the fresh York Times, U.S. peculiar Forces advise Ecuadorian commandos throughout the country.
The actions include, among others, attacks on objects utilized by criminals to transport drugs.
As the fresh York paper reminds, as of September, US forces have conducted 44 attacks on vessels in the Caribbean and the east Pacific. At least 150 people died. any legal experts consider specified actions to be "illegal, extrajudicial killings". They argue that the military cannot intentionally attack civilians suspected only of criminal activity.
