The American Air Force (U.S. Air Force) and [General Atomics Aeronautic Systems Inc](https://defence24.pl/industrial/top-100-producer-drow-where-Polish-company). (GA-ASI) reported that an unmanned device marked as YFQ-42A Collaborative Combat Aircraft is already undergoing flight tests. It happened at a California investigating base. The US Air Force stressed that this provided valuable data for further assessment of the aircraft's airworthiness, flight autonomy and integration of the mission system. Importantly, the timing of the fresh platforms is not intended to influence the thorough assessment of technological solutions. Thus, regardless of the work of the manufacturers, assessments are conducted at the Edwards Air Force Base in California and operational assessments carried out by the Experimental Operations Unit at the Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
