USA and Japan are looking for an anti-aircraft “superior”

The expanding threat from maneuvering rockets and unmanned aircraft causes the search for means to combat them cheaper than classical anti-aircraft rockets. While most of the existing anti-aircraft guns have an effective scope of fire of several, and seldom (rather on ships) more than a twelve kilometres, opportunities are being sought to increase the scope of the anti-aircraft barrel.
