The delegation of State Duma, the lower chamber of the Russian Parliament, arrived present in Washington for an authoritative visit to talk to American counterparts and officials of the administration of president Donald Trump. This is the first specified visit since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
The Republican congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna informed about the visit.
"It is simply a large honor for me to meet with the delegation of State Duma of Russia present at the Donald Trump Institute of Peace. Further dialog between the legislative authorities remains crucial and we are pleased that we are moving towards peace together," Luna wrote on platform X.
