The situation in Gaza and its consequences

Israel's military offensive in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 led to the death of tens of thousands of people. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, over 47,000 people have already died, and almost the full population of Gaza has been forced to leave their homes. The humanitarian crisis is getting worse all day, and global organisations are alerting about the dramatic situation of residents.

The wave of force began after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, in which 1,200 Israelis were killed and about 250 people were abducted. Since then Israel has led a military offensive, which part of the global community describes as possible genocide.
