US in delicate allied networks. How much do we trust them?

The Americans had access to Ukraine's delicate government infrastructure as part of an "enemy hunt" operation just prior to the Russian invasion. Kiev had to decide whether it was able to full trust the US to let cyber soldiers into its networks and systems, or whether it was better to deal with the enemy on its own. This is simply a dilemma that affects another countries as well.
