U.S. calls for NATO "to take primary responsibility"

The head of the Pentagon called on the French defence minister and another NATO members "to presume the primary work for the conventional defence of Europe" - the U.S. Department of Defense's communication after a gathering of the heads of the US and France's defence departments.
