The creation of a fresh aircraft drone purchasing platform in the United States is to be part of a broader plan, leading to improved assessment, acquisition and deployment of unmanned systems in U.S. land troops. What is presently being created in the US Army has been described by the heads of the Executive Office for Aviation (Program Executive Office for Aviation) as a "centralised Amazon store".
