U.S. Army's betting on self-propelled drum. Program resumed

As Breaking defence writes, RFI (Request For Information)'s requests from BAE Systems, General Dynamics Land Systems, Elbit Systems, Hanwha and Rheinmetall are being taken into account for manufacturers of barrel systems. The plan to acquisition fresh self-propelled haubics was investigated for the Transformation in Contact program (changes in the structures of US land forces taking into account fresh conflicts), but the acquisition of self-propelled haubics was considered intentional.
