Uruguay the first country in Latin America to legalize euthanasia

The Uruguayan legislature adopted a law legalising the country's euthanasia - thus becoming the first country in Latin America to make specified a decision. Earlier, the decriminalisation of euthanasia, after the ultimate Courts' judgments, was undertaken by Colombia and Ecuador, which, however, did not adopt government in this area.
