Festival of SWTP Jubilee

The Association for Supporting Polish Technology (SWTP) – the youngest organization associated with the Federation of technological and method Associations of the Chief method Organisation (FSNT-NOT) – celebrated its decade on 25 September 2025. This event took place at a peculiar time, due to the fact that in the Jubilee Year of Association of Polish Engineers and Engineers.

The gathering began with a Jubilee toast. Members, sympathizers and friends of the Association were among the many guests gathered in the Warsaw home of NOT Technology. erstwhile representatives of the FSNT-NOT Main Board, as well as the presidents of many technological and method Associations focused on FSNT-NOT and representatives of the FSNT-NOT Local Organizational Units cooperating with SWTP.

A long list of wishes and congratulations were received from invited guests. A peculiar minute was the speech of the MP at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Kinga Gajewski, who gave wishes for further fruitful activities of the Association. The host of the ceremony was president of SWTP, and besides Vice president of FSNT-NOT, Kamil Wójcik. In his speech he recalled the past of the birth of the Association and the people who supported its formation, with a peculiar emphasis on the merit of late Prof. Dr. Józef Suche, erstwhile vice president of FSNT-NOT and the Association of Polish Electricians, as well as Dr. Piotr Szymczak, erstwhile president of SEP. Memories and reflections were accompanied by a multimedia presentation, showing the past and present of SWTP, prepared in a modern, dynamic audiovisual arrangement.

Following authoritative speeches, the founders, members and guests of the Association shared their memories and experiences with SWTP activities. The members of the organisation besides made proposals for the future, indicating the directions for further improvement and association activity. Another crucial point of the program was the presentation of commemorative medals and badges to people who are peculiarly well-deserved for the Association and its most active members and those who work peculiarly actively with SWTP. All participants were then invited to a common photo, which became a symbolic summary of this unique celebration.

The celebration culminated in an interactive presentation of key initiatives undertaken by SWTP. The specially prepared booths presented, among others, the educational-tournament cycle Prize Charger, the tv NOT net tv studio, global educational projects carried out under Erasmus+ and PCCON – a series of events promoting the planet without net under the motto "From Computerization to Digitalisation. Together’. These stands became an chance for further discussions and exchange of experiences in a friendly atmosphere, and the gathering ended in a joint treat for the guests.
