On 1 March 1951, the leaders of the 4th Board of the Main Association of “Freedom and Independence” were shot in the prison in Warsaw's Mokotów prison, after the show trial – president of WiN Łukasz Cieplinski (“Plug”, “Ludwik”) and his closest associates Adam Lazarowicz, Mieczysław Kawalec, Józef Rzepka, Franciszek Błażej, Józef Batory and Karol Chmiel. Their bodies were buried in an unknown place.
Memory Rose since Solidarnych2010 for Major Hieronim Decutowski "The Dam" and Zaporczyk.
We give tribute to and to those who now want to erase your memory from the curriculum and public space,
also through the unworthy actions of the Polish Post Office directorate from the appointment of the coalition on 13 December.
On 1 March 2024, at 9 a.m. in the erstwhile prison, now the Museum of Cursed Soldiers and Politburo Prisoners of the Polish People's Republic, began celebrations commemorating the heroes of the post-war anti-communist underground, attended by representatives of state authorities and communist organizations, the National Memorial Institute, manager of the Adrianna Garnik museum. The IPN was represented by: president – Dr. Karol Nawrocki and his deputy – Dr. Karol Polejowski and Dr. Mateusz Szpytma. The celebrations began with a solemn appeal of remembrance and the laying of flowers at the Wall of Death, where soldiers of the underground of independency were shot. During the speech, the president of the Institute of National Memory Dr. Karol Nawrocki recalled the character of Łukasz Ciepliński.
– The life and death of Łukasz Ciepliński is another example of what the conflict of the Unbreakable Soldiers and the Cursed Soldiers was about – for the same independency that Poland lost in 1939. Łukasz Ciepliński was a hero of the conflict of Bzura, defended Warsaw in 1939, was a conspirator of the largest underground army of the planet of the Home Army, and after 1945 the Soviets and their supporters forced him to proceed fighting for the same free and independent Poland lost in 1939.
The president of the IPN stressed that it is impossible to build a national community, it is impossible to cultivate the identity of Poles without referring to the phenomenon of Non-violent Soldiers.
The death of Łukasz Cieplinski and the anti-communist underground soldiers was not a loser or a failure. It was the end of a beautiful service to the Republic, and present to all of us is besides a large commitment. It is simply a commitment for the Institute of National Memory, for state authorities, for socialists, for foundations, for football fans who never forget about the Solid Soldiers and the Cursed Soldiers. It is simply a commitment to the past, but it is besides a commitment to the future.

Hello and glory to the Heroes!
