As stated on Friday, October 30, the Warsaw police, the intervention is linked to information about the possible "risk to the safety of judges and TK employees" and the hazard of disorderly conduct. The service reports that police officers execute statutory duties within the institution, while pointing out that officers did not enter the building.
In a communication published on platform X, the Police Capital Command explained that on Friday, correspondence from lawyer General Waldemar Żurek was received by the Police Headquarters. The Minister asked for peculiar attention to be paid to the safety of the Constitutional Court in connection with the protests taking place close its premises.
Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, elected by the Sejm as justice of the Constitutional Court in March 2026, was besides sent to the capital unit. In the document, she informed the Chief Commissioner of the Police that, in connection with the activities planned at the Court, there could be risks to the life and wellness of judges and staff of the institutions. It besides pointed to the hazard of disorderly conduct and requested action to guarantee the safety of persons residing there.
