The LOTTO Foundation of Halina Konopacka announced the competition "from LOTTOwe holidays 2025", offering a co-financing of PLN 10,000 or PLN 17,000 for the organization of winter stationary camps for simple school students. This initiative aims to support active recreation of children from agrarian and urban agrarian areas in Poland.
Who can claim support?
Grants may be sought:
- local government units,
- schools,
- cultural institutions,
- Circles of agrarian housekeepers,
- NGOs.
The condition is to operate for children and young people and to have a seat in agrarian or urban-rural municipalities with up to 30,000 inhabitants.
What conditions must camps meet?
Camps shall:
- be Non-commercial and for primary school pupils only,
- take place in Poland on winter holidays announced by the Ministry of Education and discipline for 2025,
- last 5 working days (Monday to Friday), with regular classes not little than 5 hours,
- provide at least 1 hr of physical activity and 1 hr of manual and artistic activities daily,
- offer participants at least 1 warm meal a day.
Additionally, each camp must number at least 10 participants and accommodation is not allowed.
Co-financing options
The competition offers 2 options for co-financing:
- Basic option – grant up to PLN 10,000, including:
- catering of participants,
- staff salaries (not more than 10% of the grant granted),
- materials and food for classes,
- the insurance of NNW and OC,
- Small prizes in competitions.
- Extended option – grant up to PLN 17,000, covering all elements of the basic variant and in addition:
- excursions and attractions specified as swimming pool, ice rink, cinema, museum or outdoor workshops.
No own contribution is required.
Timetable for submission of applications
Applications must be submitted via the electronic form available on the LOTTO Foundation website, according to the timetable for each voivodship:
- 2-11 January 2025. – voivodships: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Lubuskie, Lesser Poland, Świętokrzyskie, Wielkopolskie,
- 9-18 January 2025. – voivodships: Podlaskie, Warmian-Masurian,
- 16-25 January 2025. – voivodships: Lower Silesian, Mazowieckie, Opole, Zachodniopomorskie,
- 30 January–8 February 2025. – voivodships: Lublin, Łódź, Podkarpackie, Pomeranian, Silesian.

Important organisational guidelines
The camp organizers must:
- provide staff with appropriate powers,
- make statements on the qualifications and protection of children,
- remember that each organizer can apply for backing for only 1 camp.
