Saturday 2025 Common 19 April and is the last day before Easter erstwhile you can do shopping. In accordance with the applicable provisions, all shops must halt trading by 14:00. This means that most large commercial networks will close their facilities early so that workers can complete their work before the statutory deadline.
Hours of closure of popular commercial networks:
- Ladybug: by hr 13:30 p.m.
- Lidl: by hr 13:00
- Dino: by hr 13:30 p.m.
- Auchan: by hr 13:00
- Kaufland: by hr 13:00
- Net: by hr 13:00
- Carrefour: by hr 13:00
- Frog: by hr 14:00; after this time, franchisees decide to open the store
- Aldi: by hr 13:30 p.m.
It is worth noting that Frog and Carrefour Express, operating on a franchise basis, may be opened after 14:00 if the owner of the store stands behind the counter. However, in accordance with the Trade regulation Act on Sundays and holidays, all stores must complete sale by 14:00unless they are personally led by the owner.
Shopping on Easter and Easter Monday – what will be open?
W Easter Sunday (20 April) and Easter Monday (April 21) Most stores will be closed. Exceptions include facilities where the owner will be present behind the counter and certain service points, specified as:
- Fuel stations
- Pharmacy
- Bakery
- Florists
- Housing stores run by owners
These days, the same operating rules apply as on Sundays subject to trade restrictions. It is worth planning your buying in advance to avoid problems with availability on Christmas.
