Members of the ultimate Council of Hunting insult parliamentarians. Marcin Możdzynek and Rafał Ciszewski do everything possible to guarantee that the Polish Hunting Union does not regain self-government.
All points to the fact that the president of the Committee on Environmental Protection of Ursula Pasławska managed to negociate a compromise in the amendment of the hunting law. "We have an crucial step behind us towards a self-governing PZL," said the MP on social media today.
The Sejm's committee adopted amendments concerning the selection of national hunters and the restoration of the Main Audit Committee and the Regional Hunting Councils. Rejecting at the same time those that could paralyze the functioning of the hunting circles – which, among another things, gives the anticipation for anti-hunt organizations to challenge yearly hunting plans to administrative courts...
Theoretically, we are getting closer to success. However, listening to the members of the NRLA – who talk during the committee – you can get a completely different impression...
Success or full failure?
For those who observe the revision of hunting law, the committee's parliamentary meetings, it is simply a very instructive lesson how hard it is to build a parliamentary majority. The price for regaining the choice of authorities in the Polish Hunting Union was to keep the records, thanks to which the Minister of the Environment will be able to further approve the Statute of PZL and repeal resolutions of the ultimate Council of...
At the erstwhile committee meeting, Mrs Pasławska asked for a break, which was to give Mrs Hennig-Klosce a chance to prepare the amendments. Anti-Hailour organizations rejected large success and announced a halt to the amendment of the Hunting Act. Yesterday, parliamentarians voted on the amendments prepared by the MPs of the Left, Greens and Poland 2050...
From the point of view of average hunters, the proposed changes do not matter. If the amendment is passed in the current form of Poland, the Hunting Union will regain its ability to function smoothly!
Many hunters hoped that Parliament would retreat all harmful provisions from the hunting bill that the Law and Justice introduced in 2018. specified a script was not feasible in the current parliament!
The position of Undersecretary Dorożała and anti-fishing organizations was very clear from the beginning. The government must have tools to supervise the activities of the Polish Hunting Union, up to the level of hunting circles...
The only chance that the amendment to the law would have won the majority in the Sejm and the legislature is to leave all the surveillance tools to date and to add fresh ones that I feel are irrelevant. The crucial thing is that the ministry of the environment will have a time frame for intervention on this occasion, which will prevent the future paralysis of the functioning of our organization...
Compromising behavior
With 1 comment, she said to the bitter hunter: “Working on laws is like walking on a line over a cliff. Sometimes it is better to halt and wait for the right minute than take a careless step and fall into the abyss.”
Members of the NRŁ bureau – who spoke during the committee's deliberations – proved that they did NOT realize how representatives of the Polish Hunting Union should behave as guests in Parliament. The insulting of parliamentarians and the minister was an highly embarrassing spectacle.
All the more so, that the current Chief Council of Hunting for a year did NOT prepare its proposal for amendment. She did NOT discuss the proposal made by the palamentarians of the Polish People's Party. So there is no authoritative council position!
On the another hand, president Marcin Możdźnik – who represents NRŁ outside – constantly lectured and criticized parliamentarians' decisions, and the associate of the Bureau Rafał Ciszewski expressed his hope that Parliament would NOT pass amendments...
Arrogance and shoe
Mrs Pasławska's task “fixed” the mistakes of 2018, but the anti-fishing organizations have been very effective in attacking and forcing change. In my opinion, however, it is our large success!
The arrogant and shoey behaviour of the members of the NRŁ was a large mistake. The parliamentary committee has postponed the final vote...
The position of the authorities of the Polish Hunting Union was a surprise for all. It besides showed that in our environment there is no will to cooperate with the ruling coalition. This could have serious consequences and end in a spectacular defeat, for which Marcin Możdzynek will be straight responsible.
