Unmanned F-16s begin testing

The aircraft are converted utilized F-16 versions C and D. They belong to the VENOM-AFT (Viper Experimentation and Next-gen Operations Model — Autonomy Flying Testbed) program. This venture aims to experimentation with artificial intelligence created to control autonomous combat machines to be created as a consequence of the CCA (Collaborative Combat Aircraft) program. It's not just about creating standalone unmanned combat aircraft from the F-16, but about further refining the artificial brain that is expected to someday control unmanned combat platforms.
