The European Union must be independent

Transatlantic relations are definitely asymmetric. This has been going on for years, with asymmetria deepened during Trump's rule, a symbolic example of which is the countless flattery of European leaders towards the American president and their silence erstwhile Trump lies and offends European institutions.
