EU agreement with Mercosur countries. The EC has shown how to safe farmers

On Wednesday, the European Commission proposed a mechanics to defend EU farmers from abrupt increases in imports of products specified as beef or poultry from the Mercosur block countries and from falling prices in the EU. The Commission undertook to do so erstwhile it proposed a trade agreement with this block in September.
