"The dead endures forever, where they are remembered" (W. Szymborska). On October 30, we paid tribute to the dead related to east themes.

Traditionally, before All Saints Day, lecturers, students and administrative staff of SEW visit cemeteries, light candles on graves deserved for east affairs, connected with East or friends of the survey of east Europe. A visit to Warsaw's largest necropolis of all denominations is not only an expression of memory and respect, but a unique lesson of history, on the pages of which the résumés of prominent people were recorded.
