Despite the aggressor's force on the full front, on selected directions of SHU they are able not only to keep a front line, but even execute counterattacks. In conditions of the Ukrainian War, where the site's displacements are tiny and prolonged over time, the attack (offensive) operations are carried out on a tactical-operational scale, but they are not translated to the operational level, due to the fact that with the widespread usage of drones and the deficiency of effective countermeasures, the maneuver "died". Nevertheless, there are at least a fewer reasons why it is worth looking at the counter-attack of the 2nd Ukrainian National defender Corps “Chartija” under Kupański, about which Yuri Butusov, a soldier of this corps, a writer and military correspondent, informed rather in detail, and now the commander of the 13th GN Brigade “Chartija”.
