The Myrotvorets Center was established in 2014 on the initiative of Anton Geraschenko, advisor to the then Minister of the Interior. The site makes available an open database of individual data (in an illegal way specified as hacking, phishing, and intelligence) of people considered enemies of the country. It became widely known after the assassination of 2 journalists, Olesia Buzina and Oleg Kalashnikov, whose addresses were published at the Myrotvorets Center.

Despite many controversy, the organization has support from the authorities. Among the partners were the Ministry of the Interior, safety Service and another national safety agencies.

In 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine sent Ukrainian banking associations an authoritative letter recommending the usage of the Mirowiec website to counter money laundering and terrorist financing.

Myrotvorets' list includes Janusz Korwin-Mikke, Robert Winnicki, co-founder of Pink Floyd Roger Waters and Croatia's president Zoran Milanovic.

As a reason for placing Robert Winnicki on the list, incitement to cultural hatred was given. The evidence of this is simply a link to an article in which erstwhile RN president said: "Today Ukraine is glorifying the bandits, collaborators of Hitler and murderers of Poles". This is simply a high-speed abuse, and anyone who disagrees with chauvinist radicals can get to the base.

The site is very popular in Ukraine, where it forms the public opinion there. Without doing anything about it, we are at hazard of serious image failure in our east neighbor.

Complaint of the Bulgarian Government

Bulgarian president Rumen Radew along with Parliament demanded explanations from Kiev erstwhile he found on black lists Deputy Marshal of the Bulgarian Parliament and associate of the European Parliament.

"It is absolutely unacceptable that journalists, Bulgarians and Deputy talker of Parliament should be included in the list, and that is why we have all taken this decision to act" – Mr Bojko Borisov, the Leader of GERB, established.

Parliamentary Kostadin Kostadinov demanded the state's reaction to the substance and to analyse it. He called on the persons on the list to get state protection.

The Bulgarian writer Union raised the alarm erstwhile Bulgarian journalists were besides included in the Myrotvorets list "punished for execution due to their work". The Union considers that the European institutions should be informed of the existence of this party.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Sofia rejects accusations and publishes a message that “the activities of a social organization Myrotvorets has no connection with the work of Ukrainian state institutions and does not reflect Ukraine's authoritative policy.’
