Ukrainian National Anti-corruption Office (NABU) She accused officials of the Office of State safety to obstruct the conduct of investigative activities in committees of the ultimate Council of Ukraine. This body had previously revealed an organised crime group, which included delegates of the Faithful Council (parliament) of Ukraine. They took bribes for circumstantial votes during the sitting.

According to anti-corruption services, Ukrainian deputies received funds in exchange for decisions taken during voting. Moreover, erstwhile the case came to light, respective officers of the State safety Office made it hard for detectives operating in parliamentary committees.

The National Anti-corruption Office of Ukraine (NABU) together with the peculiar Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) reported the proceedings concerning corruption at the highest levels of power. An organized crime group was unmasked, consisting of elected deputies to the ultimate Council of Ukraine. The findings of the investigation show that members of the group systematically received undue assets in exchange for an appropriate vote.

As part of ongoing activities, the National Anti-corruption Office is presently active in the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure of the ultimate Council of Ukraine. Information about the investigative work on this committee was confirmed in an interview with Suspilne portal Julia Syrko of the Holos faction, who sits in this committee. The message stressed that the Office of State safety officers resisted the NABU staff during their investigative activities. They most likely took the money to defend the operation.

This is another of a series of corruption scandals, detected late in Ukraine. On 10 November, NABU and SAP revealed information about participants of an extended corruption strategy in the energy sector. They collected from Enerhoatom contractors, a state atomic power plant operator, bribes ranging from 10 to 15 percent of the contract value. These measures were to be legalized by the alleged back office in downtown Kiev, through which, as established, over $100 million were over.

On 28 November, the head of the office of president Zelenski, Andrij Jermak resigned. Jermak is under investigation by NABU in connection with the Enerhoatom corruption investigation under the code name ‘Midas’. In the investigation file, Jermak appears under the pseudonym “Ali Baba”. The head of a group of suspects in this case, hebrew Timur Mindycz, was timely warned of the arrests and managed to flee to “the homeland of all the scandals”, or Israel.
